Video Lighting

Video lighting

Video lighting lights the scene a camera records, and the face on a video call. The line covers LED bars, LED panels, LED lamps for video, lighting kits, and portable lights for recording and calls. Everything here is described at category level, with no models and no parameters. The vocabulary on this page follows the replacement set: LED bars, panels, lamps and kits, not the phrases yielded to the camera-battery site.

Types within the line

LED bars are the linear form: long bars of light for even illumination across a width, for desks, stages and backdrops. LED panels spread light over a wide, even area, which suits interviews, product shots and small studios, where harsh shadows would spoil the image. LED lamps for video are the single-unit form: lamps that light a subject for recording, in studios and on location.

Lighting kits bundle several units into a set that covers a scene from more than one angle, which suits interviews and small productions. Portable lights for video are the on-location form: lights that travel with the creator and run where mains power may not be available. Lights for video calls are the conference form: lights that make a face clear on a camera call, as the video call lighting guide explains.

How to choose a type

Start from the scene, not from the light. An interview needs soft, even light from the front; a product shot needs controlled light from several angles; a video call needs front light for a single face; an event needs light that covers a stage. Then consider the space: a small room needs less light than a hall, and a room with daylight needs different light from a dark studio. The video lighting selection guide explains the distinctions in full.

Do not choose by a single figure. A brightness figure alone does not describe a light: its colour, its evenness, and the space it must cover all matter. The inquiry should name the scene and the space, so the supplier can confirm the right type from real stock information.

What to confirm in an inquiry

Name the scene and the space the lighting must serve, the quantity you have in mind, and the market you sell into. Ask for the specification for the exact type, the minimum order quantity for your order, the lead time with its meaning, and the certificates that apply to your market, by name, with documents attached. The bulk inquiry pages list these confirmations in full.

Before payment, confirm the minimum order quantity and lead time for your order. Certificates are available upon request.

About this category list

The category list on this site follows the storefront categories as displayed. The storefront list may be truncated on the page, so the list here may be incomplete; if a category you need is not shown, name it in your inquiry and the supplier can confirm whether it is available.

The video lighting line is described here at category level only. No models, no parameters and no performance figures are stated, because none are evidenced. A buyer who needs a specific model should name it in the inquiry, where the supplier can confirm or decline from real stock information.
